Junior Sales Executive

Brackmills, Northampton
Permanent Role

Monday – Thursday
8.30am – 5.30pm
Friday
8.30am – 5.00pm
1 hour lunch break
Attractive salary dependent on experience
+ generous commission structure

You don’t need sales experience to be considered for the role… if you already have customer service, retail, hospitality or contact centre experience we’d love to hear from you.

The role:

  • Calling potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
  • Creating detailed and accurate proposal documents
  • Working closely with the Account Manager’s to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with equipment suppliers
  • Reviewing your own performance, meeting or exceeding targets

The Successful Applicant:

  • Excellent communication skills and the tenacity to keep going!
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivation and a professional manner
  • Determination and drive to work to and exceed targets
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sales experience is desirable but not essential
  • Literacy, numeracy and IT skills (minimum to GCSE level)
  • Driving license and own vehicle are a must

Administrator

The role:

  • Creating finance quotations and proposals
  • Using various online systems to submit finance applications to lenders
  • Checking and preparing finance documents & packs for all relevant information using various websites and credit checking systems
  • Processing signed finance documents for payment
  • Booking appointments for documents to be signed
  • Updating the CRM System and filing Client information correctly
  • Raising invoices & commission documents
  • Taking inbound calls and directing to the relevant Account Manager’s
  • Outbound calls to lenders/banks: requesting updates, general queries and support questions
  • Supporting the sales teams through effective administration & regular communication

The Successful Applicant:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in cooperation with internal and external contacts
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative and questioning methods
  • Excellent time management due to ever changing and short deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent organisation and capability to work at pace
  • Literacy, numeracy and IT skills (minimum to GCSE level)
  • A professional manner but with the aptitude to probe for any missing information
  • Good business acumen
  • Exceptional attention to detail is a must!
